Ordering Goods
Placing an order does not constitute a contract with us or guarantee supply. Once we have received an order we will review this and verify availability of the Goods and the P&P costs. You will receive an email confirming acceptance or otherwise of your order. It is at this point we enter into a contract with you. If we are unable to accept all or part of your order we will explain why. We reserve the right to cancel any order.
Quotations
These are valid for 30 days and do not guarantee supply of the Goods.
Cancellation of Orders and Return of Goods
Orders cancelled up to dispatch will be given a full refund. Cancellation after dispatch will receive a refund of only the value of the goods. This does not apply to cancellation of Services or Events ordered online.
Return of unwanted Goods for refund will not be accepted after 60 days from the date of dispatch and no refund will be offered.
Quality and Specification of items
Stocks of Goods are in various conditions and are mostly coded as set out in Item 8 of the full Terms and Conditions. Some items are fit for use and carry a 12 month warranty. Some items as sold may not be fit for use and carry no warranty. If you are unsure of the quality, specification, nature or condition of any item you are ordering you must contact us first for clarification.
Delivery
We will always endeavour to dispatch goods as soon as we are able, but this will vary by workload upon us.
It may not be possible for us to arrange delivery to some overseas countries. If this is the case we will contact you and invite you to arranger your own courier.
We reserve the right to cancel any order for which we cannot reasonably arrange delivery.
Pricing
Online prices are retail price in UK pounds sterling excluding P&P and vat tax as appropriate.
Paid up members of ASOC are eligible for a 20% Membership Discount on Goods bought for their own use, or use on their own vehicles. To receive this, members must use their Voucher Code at checkout where the discount will be applied.
The Voucher Code is composed of your membership number and surname name, as it appears on the Sphinx magazine postal address label.
Exchange Items and Surcharges
Some items are sold on an exchange basis and carry a refundable Surcharge*. Items offered in exchange must be complete, in reasonable condition, fit for reconditioning and received by us at our premises within 45 days of your order being dispatched. After this time no refund of the surcharge will be given. *Items in the opinion of the club and / or their suppliers deemed not fit for refurbishment will not attract any refund.
Postage and Packing (P&P)
All P&P is estimated by the online shop software based on weight. The P&P software recognises the country orders are to be sent to.
Multiple buys may result in excessive P&P. Overseas orders or orders of difficultly shaped items may not have accurate P&P. We will contact you if we need to vary the P&P and seek your agreement before confirming any order. If a charge seems incorrect you are invited to contact us.
Orders can be specified to be collected in person or by an agent, where no P&P will be charged. ASOC Stores are open for collections Mondays and Wednesdays 1.pm to 4pm and 10am to 4pm Tuesdays (except public holidays). Other times may be available by request.
Overseas Buyers and Taxation, eg VAT.
VAT will be charged for UK residents only. Overseas buyers will not be charged VAT. We do not accept any liable for any import duty imposed by the buyer’s own country of destination or disturbance to Delivery that may result from this.
Warranty to customers
Full details of any warranty offered is in Section 13, 14 and 15 of the Terms & Conditions.
Goods sold as ‘NEW’, new / recent stock, ‘REM’. remanufactured stock and ‘REC’ reconditioned stock carry a full 12 months warranty, subject to conditions. Other Goods sold are not warranted as fit for purpose.
To claim under this warranty, you must explain why you are seeking to claim and agree with us whether we need the Goods retuned to us or can accept other evidence. If we request the Goods be returned, then you must return them no later than 7 days after our request and give us reasonable opportunity to examine the Goods.
Where we supply replacement Goods free of charge ahead of receiving the return of the item of Goods for which you are claiming a warranty, we must receive the returned warranty claim Goods within 14 days of dispatch of the replacement Goods, or you will fall liable for the cost of the replacement Goods.

1. This website is operated by The Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club Ltd (Stores). Where these terms and conditions use terms such as "we", "us" and "our" they refer to The Armstrong Siddeley Owners Club Ltd (Stores).
2. We offer this website, including all the information, tools and services available on it, on the condition that you accept these terms and conditions and the associated privacy policy available on our website.
3. By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions, without prior notice to you, by posting updates on this page. 5. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

7. You may not reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or otherwise exploit for commercial gain, or otherwise, any portion of any of the content on the website or any other part of the service that we offer on this website.
8. Headings and titles used on this website are done so for convenience only. They do not constitute any part of the terms and conditions and will not limit or otherwise affect the terms herein.
ONLINE STORE TERMS
9. Our website offers a range of products and or services for sale. Where we refer to an 'item' we are referring to a single product or service available for purchase on this website.
10. We will take all reasonable care to ensure that the details displayed for a particular item offered for sale are correct at the time when the information was entered onto the system.
11. Whilst care is taken to ensure that we display as accurately as possible appearances, colours, textures or finishes, what you will see on your computer monitor or equipment may differ and so we cannot guarantee that images are an accurate representation of the actual goods or services that you are purchasing.
12. We may not be able to accept your order due to one or more of the following reasons, or for a reason not listed below:
i) The item you have ordered is out of stock
ii) We cannot authorise your payment or have reasonable grounds to suspect your payment may be fraudulent
iii) There has been a pricing or product description error
iv) There is a system or procurement failure
v) You have failed our customer validation checks
13. When you place an order you will receive an email confirming the details of your order. This email is not confirmation that your order has been accepted by us.
14. Your order will only be accepted by us once your goods have been dispatched.
MODIFICATIONS TO OUR SERVICE AND PRICING
15. Prices for items are subject to change without notice.
16. We reserve the right to, at any time, modify or discontinue any part of the service that we offer, or any part of content thereof, without any notice to you.
17. We accept no liability to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of the service.
DELIVERY
18. During checkout, you may be presented with one or more options for delivery. Where an estimated timescale for delivery is provided, this is an estimate only and your items may be delayed in being received due to circumstances beyond our control (such as a courier delay, or at busy times).
19. Where you select a "next day delivery" option, orders placed on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays may not be despatched for delivery until the following week and so may not be received until Tuesday.
ORDER CANCELLATION
20. If you wish to cancel an order you have placed you must contact us immediately to ascertain whether the items have been dispatched or not. Where they have been dispatched, you will need to return the item to us and you will be responsible for paying the cost of returning the items.
21. Where items have not been dispatched prior to a cancellation request, our refund policy will apply.
22. Where you have ordered a personalised, perishable or time critical item (such as food, newspapers, event tickets or e-vouchers) you may not be able to cancel for a full refund.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
23. We shall not be liable for any direct, special, indirect or consequential or incidental damages including loss of profit or loss of opportunity as a result of the use of or the inability to use any items that have been ordered on this website.
24. You agree to indemnify us and our agents, officers, directors and employees, immediately and on demand, against all claims, liability, damages, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of any of our terms and conditions.
JURISDICTION
25. These terms and conditions shall be governed in accordance with English Law and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
ENTIRE AGREEMENT
26. These terms and conditions combined with our published Privacy Policy (also available through this website) and Refund Policy (also available through this website) constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede any and all preceding and contemporaneous agreements between you and us whether written or oral.
GENERAL
27. Should any part-term or term be found to be unenforceable then the remainder of the terms and conditions shall continue to have full force and effect as if the invalidated term was not present.
28. Should any delay or failure to comply with our obligations under these terms and conditions arise where it is beyond our reasonable control, we will not be responsible to you for such delay or failure nor liable for any loss that you incur, howsoever caused.
