Manufacturers of electrical components for the British (and others) motor industry, eg Starter Motors, Dynamos, Regulators, Switches, Lamps, ignition components, wiper motors, wiring harnesses and many more. Founded by Joseph Lucas nicknamed "the prince of darkness". Lucas also bought and owned many other companies serving the motorindustry, eg Girling, Bendix and CAV to name a few.
