16HP Typhoon

1947 Armstrong Siddeley Typhoon. Project car. 

This is a restoration project car where quite a lot of the hard work has already been completed. 

Most parts appear to be here but there is quite a bit of work needed to the roof structure. 

The rear mechanical brakes all seem to work but the hydraulic front brakes have been partially removed. The master cylinder looks to have been rebuilt. 

We could only get the engine to cough but not run. It has been fitted with a Ford carburettor which we're unfamiar with. Fuel seems to drain straight through it. The car comes with a correct carburettor which might get fitted before too long.

The body tub and panels have had a lot of prep work done so wouldn't take much effort to paint and reassemble. As far as we know the car is complete. We don't have space to lay out all the parts to check but any parts needed can be supplied. 

The car rolls freely and the handbrake works.
